LJ3 Cards
TERMS OF SERVICE
The agreement between you and LJ3 Cards when you use this site, claim a spot in a break, or take part in the community.
Effective August 21, 2026
1. Who we are
LJ3 Cards (“LJ3 Cards”, “we”, “us”) runs group trading-card breaks and a collector community at lj3.cards and in our Discord server. These Terms govern your use of the site and participation in our breaks. The operating entity is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], located at [MAILING ADDRESS].
By using the site or claiming a spot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use LJ3 Cards. Breaks involve payment and physical shipment, and we do not knowingly accept participation from anyone under 18. If we learn a participant is under 18, we will cancel their spots and refund any amount paid.
3. Your account
- You sign in through X, Discord, or Google. We never see or store your password for those services.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- Your break history is matched to you by the handleyou claim under. Handles you add to your profile must actually be yours. Claiming someone else’s handle to absorb their history is grounds for removal.
- You may claim one spot as a guest without an account. Guest claims are matched by handle and are subject to these same Terms.
4. How breaks work
A break is a live opening of sealed trading-card product, divided into spots that participants claim in advance. Depending on the format:
- Random Team — you buy a quantity of spots and teams are assigned by our randomizer after the board fills.
- Pick Your Team / Division / Energy — you choose the specific team, division, or type you want when you claim.
You receive the cards that come out of that break belonging to your assigned or chosen team. What comes out is random. We make no promise about the value, condition, grade, or rarity of the cards you receive, and the amount you pay for a spot is not a statement of what it will be worth. You may receive cards worth far less than you paid. That risk is the nature of a break and it is yours.
We assign teams by randomizer and publish the draw so it can be checked. We do not seed, sort, or weight product to influence outcomes.
5. Prices and payment
- Each spot shows its price before you claim it. Claiming creates an obligation to pay that amount.
- Payment happens off-platform — currently via Venmo, PayPal, or arrangement with @Founders in Discord. We do not process card payments on this site and we never collect card or bank numbers here.
- You settle up as usual after claiming. Spots that go unpaid may be released back to the board.
- Repeated non-payment is grounds for losing access.
6. Refunds and cancellation
- Before the break starts: while a board is still filling, you may cancel a spot and receive a full refund of anything you have paid. Ask in Discord or email us.
- Once the break starts: all sales are final. Once product is opened, a spot cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred back to us — regardless of what the break yields.
- If we cancel: if a break is called off, or product cannot be sourced, you get a full refund or a credited spot in a future break, your choice.
- Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us first will result in removal from the community.
7. Shipping
- Cards ship to the address you provide. Keep it current — we are not responsible for a shipment sent to an address you gave us in error.
- Shipping is charged per break, with bundle pricing when you stack several breaks into one shipment. Current rates are shown in your member dashboard.
- Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes the package. We will help you chase a lost or damaged parcel, but we are not the carrier and cannot guarantee its performance.
- Cards held for bundling are stored at your request and at your risk.
8. Trades between members
Members may trade teams or spots with each other. We record the trade so the board stays accurate; we are not a party to it. Any side agreement between the two of you is yours to honor, and we are not responsible for a trade that goes wrong.
9. Loyalty perks
We may offer perks such as a free spot after a number of breaks. Perks are a courtesy, have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may change or end at any time.
10. Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate another member, or claim under a handle that is not yours.
- Do not use bots, scripts, or automation to claim spots.
- Do not harass other members, in Discord or anywhere else connected to LJ3 Cards.
- Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not resell access to the site or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
11. Our content
The LJ3 Cards name, logo, site design, and content are ours. Anything you post — handles, notes, preferences — stays yours, but you give us permission to display it where the site needs to (break boards, rosters, member lists) in order to run the break.
12. Availability
The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, and we may change or discontinue features. A board, price, or spot count shown in the interface is a convenience — the server’s record is authoritative if the two ever disagree.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, LJ3 Cards is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site or a break is limited to the amount you paid us for the spot or spots the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or the speculative value of cards you did or did not receive.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify LJ3 Cards against claims arising from your use of the site, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with other members.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms, does not pay, or harms the community. You may stop using the site at any time; email lj3card@gmail.com to have your account closed. Obligations for spots you have already claimed survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced in Discord. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and both of us consent to that venue.
18. Contact
